Lake Eyre with Dad - Flinders Ranges, Sept 13, 2011

Our second day was wonderful, spent the morning with a nearby station owner, who took us around her family station, and then through some of Flinders gorges.

The country is amazing, steep and rocky with many magnificent old gum trees along waterways.

We had morning tea of quandong pie and jam with scones at a place called Blinman which we had flown over yesterday. Then out through Brichmer Gorge, a narrow and beautiful pass out of ranges.

Back to Parachilna for an afternoon sleep, then I dined on kangaroo fillets
